Richmond residents will soon have the opportunity to drill their local councillors on issues close to their heart as Question Time comes to the borough.

Residents will be able to quiz the leader of the council and cabinet members during several events, the first of which kicks off in Mortlake on October 31.

The evening will start with an opportunity to meet the councillors, followed by a presentation from the panel on village planning and local priorities and then Question Time itself.

To ensure a variety of topics are discussed throughout the night, questions can be submitted in advance- these will be covered in the first 45 minutes.

The second hour will be open to the floor to allow questions on other topics.

Although residents can submit more than one question, they will only be able to ask one, which must be asked at the event in person or by a nominated delegate.

For those unable to attend, each event will be streamed live on our Facebook page and residents can tweet your questions during the event at @LBRUT on Twitter using #VillageQT.
