Police are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries earlier this week.

Three properties were targeted on August 9 and a large amount of jewellery was stolen.

A house in Felcott Road, Walton-on-Thames, was broken into at around 1.30pm, with the offenders reported to fled in a dark coloured vehicle.

Later, two properties in Brighton Road, Tadworth, were targeted between 3pm and 3.30pm with four armed offenders threatening occupants and leaving the properties with gold jewellery and other goods.

Detective Inspector Peter Harvey, of Surrey Police, said: “These burglaries are believed to be targeted and we are doing all that we can to identify the offenders.

“Please see the advice on our website to keep your home safe and secure.

“I also advise the public to keep jewellery and other valuables in a bank safety deposit box and register their belongings on Immobilise.com, it helps police to identify the owners of the recovered property.”

Detectives are investigating the incidents and are asking anyone with information to get in touch, quoting 45170087075.
