A man has been treated in hospital for gunshot wounds following reports of gunfire in Whitton.
Armed police were among officers rushed to Chertsey Road after call at 10.48pm yesterday (August 1), but no victims or suspects were found.
It is understood that a man arrived alone at a west London hospital with gunshot injuries, which are not life-threatening.
Officers from the Trident and Area Crime Command are investigating with road closures and a crime scene in place.
Police said no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
