A clay homage to sculptor Anthony Gormley came to Barnes in the form of 400 mini schoolchildren.
Pupils at Barnes Primary School made models of themselves for a unique art exhibition at the Old Sorting Office - but in a true salute to the modern artist, their models have also been posted to various shop windows around Barnes.
Kate Hunt, who helped the children with the installation, said: "Most people were amazed at the quantity and quality of the work because it was all produced in just one week.
"It was incredible to see all the figures together for the first time.
"The figures we sent out to places around Barnes were warmly received, most notably by the butcher's who got attached to it and did not want to give it back."
