A weekly farmers' market returns to the borough with a chance for people to win £40 of farmers' market vouchers to spend.

Launching on September 10 in the yard of Turing House School, the company behind Teddington's festive farmers' market is bringing residents all the spoils of the countryside.

Supporting independent farmers and produce, the market will host 25 different food stalls each week, offering a wide variety of ingredients from farmers, fishermen, plant growers, bakers, cheese makers and more.

London Farmers’ Markets has been operating for almost twenty years and currently host 22 weekly markets across the capital, cutting out the middleman and protecting the producer, without which they estimate that at least 50% of their farmers would not be in business.

The organisers will also welcome local charities and voluntary groups to attend the market on occasion to showcase their work.

After the launch, guests can visit the market every Sunday, from 10am to 2pm, browsing the stalls and meeting the farmers and producers themselves to learn about the entire process behind the products.
