A teenager has suffered 'possibly life-changing' injuries following a stabbing, near Richmond College.

The 17-year-old boy was found by officers responding to a call received at 12.48pm reporting a man having been injured after an assault.

He was then treated by paramedics and taken to a central London hospital.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but are possibly life-changing.

"There have been no arrests. Enquiries continue.”

According to one witness, forensic officers, a police car and two vans were still at the scene at 4pm.

A Richmond College spokeswoman said: “On Thursday 27 April 2017 there was an incident in Craneford Way which is being dealt with by the Metropolitan Police.

“There is no connection to Richmond upon Thames College or its students.”
