A man has been taken to hospital following reports of a person on the tracks at Twickenham station.
British Transport Police were called to the station at 7.40am, where they found an elderly man who had suffered injuries that were "not thought to be life threatening", according to a spokeswoman.
A witness who was on the train said she saw two police officers at the station, and a police car and ambulance in the Moormead and Bandy Recreation Grounds.
