Children and staff at a Twickenham primary school demostrated their culinary skills in a massive Bake Off competition to raise money for Children In Need.
There were 243 entries from St Stephen’s School, including 18 from the staff, on Friday, November 18.
Former Pop Idol finalist Mark Rhodes, of CBBC’s “Junior Bake Off”, joined the PTA team to hand out the trophies to the winners in an assembly in the afternoon.
Each was presented with a wooden spoon decorated by illustrator and St Stephen’s parent Merle Goll.
The registration fees for the Bake Off plus the in-school activities raised £690 for Children In Need.
The sale of the cakes after school raised a further £750 for school.
