Professional extreme sports show EXTREME is to headline Harlequins Big Game 9 when the club plays Gloucester Rugby.

To celebrate the Harlequins players have been trying their hand at BMX riding, skateboarding and free running with the group.

EXTREME includes athletes Ben Savage (current trial riding world champion), Darryl Brown (mountain bike world record holder), Matti Hemmings (five-time Guinness World Recorder holder), Scott Wilson (former MTB Trials World champion) and James Jones (Welsh BMX champion).

EXTREME’s Marketing Manager Ryan Maxwell said: “It’s an absolute privilege for EXTREME to be working with Harlequins during Big Game 9 at Twickenham Stadium.

“The day will be an unrivalled spectacle from start to finish.”

The riders will combine with free runners, Bogdan Pascal and Luke Madigan, to create a “jaw dropping” display.

Harlequins back-row Luke Wallace said: “Big Game is one of the headline matches for us as players.

“Twickenham Stadium is an incredible venue to play rugby in and we are looking forward to another great match against Gloucester Rugby on December 27th.

“Big Game is more than just the rugby; it is an incredible day out and with EXTREME providing stunts and displays, there will be fun for everyone.”

Big Game 9 will take place on Tuesday, December 27, at Twickenham Stadium.
