The great and good of the borough’s business community gathered to celebrate a year of success.

The Richmond Business Awards, in association with the Richmond & Twickenham Times, took place at the RFU in Twickenham where winners across 13 categories were announced.

Anne Newton, Richmond Chamber of Commerce CEO, said: “The winners impressed our independent professional judges with their high quality entries and good evidence of their business successes during the past year.

“Our judges commented too, that their role was not easy and consequently winners won against a strong field of start-ups to small, medium enterprises, corporate businesses and non-profits, and from diverse sectors such as creative, high-tech, science, IT, retail and professional services to name but a few.”

She added: “Thank you to the many quality businesses and charities who submitted excellent entries, VIPs and guests who supported by coming along and enjoying the evening, our entertainers, photographers and videographer, our venue the RFU, our independent judges, our co-host Richmond and Twickenham Times, our headline sponsor St Mary's University and sponsors Veolia, NatWest, Butterworth Laboratories, Minesoft, Santander, Bluebird Care, The Lensbury and RCVS.

“All of you made the event not only happen, but achieve an even greater impact for business and non-profits than ever across the borough of Richmond upon Thames.”

Entry for next year’s Richmond Business Awards will open in early 2017, with the ceremony taking place at the RFU again on November 10.
