An elderly woman who suffers from dementia has been missing from Richmond for more than 24 hours.

Alison Ramsdale, 60, was last seen walking along Sheen Lane, Richmond towards Upper Richmond Road at about 11.20pm on Saturday, October 8.

However, police are investigating a possible sighting of Mrs Ramsdale this morning (Monday, October 10) in the Uxbridge Road area of Shepherd’s Bush.

She is described as a white woman, tall and slim, with short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a fitted burgundy checked blouse and a padded pink gilet.

Mrs Ramsdale suffers from dementia and has little short-term recollection. The Metropolitan police has warned she is likely to be confused and nervous.
