A man was robbed in broad daylight as he relaxed in a central Kingston Park at lunchtime.
The victim was sat on a bench in Canbury Gardens at 12.45pm on August 7 when he was approached by a group of three men who demanded his bag.
When he refused there was a struggle and the men snatched his bag and ran off.
Kingston police are hunting three men in connection with the attack.
Two of the men were white and about 6ft tall. One was wearing a full, dark blue Nike tracksuit and had gelled blonde hair.
The other was skinny with ear-length blonde hair and wearing a white Armani t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.
The third man was described as of south European descent, about 5ft 7in, with cropped black hair and wearing a grey jumper and jeans.
