A car was completely destroyed in a fire in Hampton this morning.
Fire fighters from Twickenham were called to Lower Sunbury Road at 3.30am to a Ford Mondeo that was on fire.
The fire fighters took 40 minutes to get the blaze under control and used a full tank of water.
A spokesman from Twickenham Fire Station said: “You could still make out the front [of the car] but the rest of it had completely gone.
“We couldn’t say what had caused it, you would have to ask the police.
“But it wasn’t in a proper parking space, it looked like it had been dumped there.”
