The architect who designed the council’s preferred design for Twickenham riverside has split from the practice he ran with his father.

Francis Terry has left Quinlan and Francis Terry Architects to begin his own practice nearby, known as Francis Terry and Associates and described as an offshoot of the firm he ran with his father.

A spokesman from Francis Terry and Associates said this will not affect the riverside project, and Mr Terry will carry on his work as normal.

A consultation around the plans, which were met with a mixed reception from residents, will begin in a pop-up shop in July.
