The flood warnings in place across south London and Surrey obviously came too late for the owner of this car, spotted over the weekend at Richmond Bridge.
The blue Suzuki, parked underneath a sign warning of sudden flooding that could submerge parked vehicles, was photographed by product manager Nick Flood, who tweeted the image on Saturday with the caption "Doh, someone didn't take notice of the sign. #hightide #riverthames."
