John Dormer and the giant pumpkin
A giant 165kg pumpkin donated by an anonymous well-wisher to a Hampton Hill restaurant helped raise £180 for charity, writes Sarah Tooke.
A ‘Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin’ competition was held on Friday, November 27, at the La Familia restaurant before the Hampton Hill Lighting up Parade.
John Dormer of the Greenwood Centre accepted a cheque to go towards the outreach projects run by Hampton and Hampton Hill voluntary care.
