A man accused of sexual assault at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, will go on trial at Kingston Crown Court later this month.

William Harrison, of Victoria Street in Ely, Cambridgeshire, faces two counts of sexual assault at the Waldegrave Road university on September 24, 2014.

The 20-year-old appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today, where he indicated he would enter a not guilty plea to both charges.

Mr Harrison is alleged to have penetrated the woman with a finger without consent, as well as a second charge of ‘sexual touching’ without consent.

He appeared in the dock wearing a navy suit, grey trousers and brown shoes and left the court building with an older man.

He will next appear at Kingston Crown Court on October 16.
