A serial burglar sent to a young offenders' institution in 2013 for breaking into homes in Walton, Molesey and Thames Ditton, is wanted by police on recall to prison.
Shane Warburton, originally of Fulmer Close, Hampton, had been released after being sentenced to 36 months inside when he was aged 18.
He laughed in court in July 2013 as prosecutors described the damage he had caused during more than 20 burglaries.
Guildford Crown Court heard that he had committed his first burglary at the age of 12.
He was caught when a stolen car he was in crashed into a lamppost in Hampton Court Way, East Molesey.
Richmond police said today they were trying to find him and asking people to call 101.
