Cerys Wainer won the 12-14 year old category in the Screen Your Story competition
A year 8 pupil at Orleans Park School has won a writing competition organised by the Olympic Studios in Barnes.
Cerys Wainer was victorious in the 12-14-year-old category of the Screen Your Story competition and her work will feature in an illustrated collection by Unicorn Press and made into a short film.
The competition required entrants to write a 1,000-word tale located in Richmond, featuring a character with a disability.
The overall winner will be announced on July 5 at screen one of the Olympic Studios cinema.
