Pupils at a Hampton school were given a hands-on course in health and fitness, with a patient simulator named Stan, as part of a science day on February 13.
Twickenham Preparatory schoolchildren saw Stan simulate the effects of a heart attack, also recorded blood flow speed, used an iPhone connected to an ophthalmoscope to take pictures of the blood vessels in a retina and took part in sports science activities including using a watt bike to test power output.
