MP Zac Goldsmith will swap Parliament for Barnes Women's Institute (WI) for one night only.
The evening forms part of the WI's membership campaign and aims to show the group allows people to learn new things, make new friends and be part of an organisation that makes a difference.
Caroline Barnes, Barnes WI speakers co-ordinator, said: "The WI is anything but fuddy-duddy and, like Zac, sometimes prepared to go off on a limb.
"This is the most exciting and diverse election year the UK has seen. How better to start off our own political trail than to see what our local MP thinks will happen and how it will affect us at both local and national level."
The event takes place at the Bulls Head, Lonsdale Road, on March 5.
