A seal seen favouring the waters between Molesey Lock and Teddington Lock has been sighted again.
It is not certain why the seal has decided to come inland but he or she seems to be thriving in the Thames, likely to be enjoying the fish supply in the area.
Lock keeper Stephen Bolam sent in this photograph taken on Ash Island, East Molesey, of the creature gambling about in the choppy water on Sunday, February 8.
The seal was spotted twice in January.
According to an Environment Agency spokesman it probably got into the lock when a boat passed through. Although it has been let out on each occasion it seems to return quite happily.
