Primary school pupils from across the borough visited York House last week for the annual pupil parliament.
The parliament is made up of two representatives from each school and debate on issues including the sports premium money allocated to schools.
Youngster spent the day at the council chamber on Thursday, October 9, with mayor of Richmond Councillor Jane Boulton.
The mayor listened to the speeches, took part in a question and answers session and handed out medals to the pupil parliament mayor and deputy mayor.
