Richmond Bridge: Closed to traffic this morning
Richmond Bridge was closed this morning after a gas leak.
About 20 firefighters from Richmond and Twickenham were called at 3.30am to a carbon monoxide alarm sounding close to the bridge.
Four trucks attended and the A305 St Margarets Road was closed off until about 7.30am.
Four flats were evacuated but no injuries were sustained.
