Poetry could be used to transform urban spaces in Twickenham, according to a report to be launched next week.
Poet in the City worked with Richmond Council on a feasibility study into how public art, inspired by poetry, could be used to transform 14 sites in Twickenham.
The study examines how the arts might be used to effect how Twickenham functions and regenerate its 'neglected corners'.
Leader of the council Lord True said: "I am delighted to support the launch of this publication and whilst some of the proposals it contains may not be implemented, Poet in the City has presented a fascinating palette of ideas for this and other local authorities to consider in relation to their public spaces.
"I hope this will stimulate positive public discussion."
The launch event for A Vision for the Poetry Town took place on June 27, at Orleans House Gallery in Twickenham.
