A burglar who bit a man at his Twickenham home was sentenced to 26 weeks behind bars.
Ryan Penney, 24, who lives in Bear Road, Feltham, broke into a shed in Twickenham on May 29 before being apprehended by home owner James Watson.
Penney bit Mr Watson during the incident. He pleaded guilty to resisting lawful apprehension and possessing cannabis.
He was told to pay £100 in compensation, alongside the custodial sentence, at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on June 11.
