A shower of rain did not spoil the day for the 36th annual Hamptons Carnival last month.
More than 50 charities and organisations filled Nursery Green in the Avenue, Hampton, with brightly coloured stalls on Saturday, June 14.
The crowd was entertained by Chivaree Circus, Teddington Ukulele Players, Magna Carta Chorus and Middlesex Yeomanry Band.
Richmond’s new mayor Councillor Jane Boulton, accompanied by her husband, Councillor David Marlow managed a quick visit to the carnival.
Hampton on Thames Community Association, based at the White House, Hampton, also launched their World War I project which aims to record the contribution made by residents of Hampton and Hampton Hill to the war.
Appeals ave gone out to any locals who wish to assist with the research or possess information and artefacts that they are willing to have included in the community project to get in touch on 020 8979 1884.
