Landscaping work on Twickenham riverside was completed this week, following £800,000 an investment by Richmond Council.
The regeneration scheme included the planting of eight semi-mature pin oak trees, new street lighting and resurfaced pavements.
Council cabinet member for environment Councillor Pamela Fleming said: "Twickenham now has a riverside to be proud of.
"Just like the Diamond Jubilee Gardens we have achieved this transformation of Twickenham riverside by working with local people and finding out how they wanted the embankment to look.
"It’s now a beautiful stretch for people to walk along, view from the River, or just sit and enjoy."
