An all-male cast will perform the world’s greatest love story in full Elizabethan costume at Ham House this summer.
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men’s production of Shakespeare’s 400-year-old tragedy Romeo and Juliet, complete with music, dance and theatre’s most famous balcony will be brought to the open air stage on July 13.
The tale of feuding families in Verona, two passionate young lovers and their doomed affair will be brought to life by the theatre company’s classically trained actors, and promises to be a performance to remember.
