Fifty years after the Fab Four used Twickenham Studios for their feature film A Hard Day’s Night, McCartney and Lennon return as they have never been seen before.

The pair will appear in a stage adaptation that puts a spin on the traditional Beatles story.

The play Tomorrow Never Knows explores the unique relationship between Paul McCartney and John Lennon and asks what would have happened if the pair never hit the big time.

The answer in the imagination of writer Mason Philips is they end up living in Teddington playing small local venues.

The play causes Beatles fans to re-evaluate Beatlemania, the price of fame and the cruel nature of fate.

The production is a tale of longing, love and loss and audiences can expect an emotional rollercoaster against the backdrop of classic Beatles tunes.

Tomorrow Never Knows; Hampton Hill Playhouse; June 4 to 7; 7.30pm; £14 to £16; tomorrowneverknowsplay.co.uk.
