Amy Winehouse’s former keyboard player Xantone Blacq will perform at the Twickenham Tavern with his trio next month.

The man they called “magnificent” is a charismatic performer with a successful career as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer.

Among the stars he has recorded and performed with are Nigel Kennedy, Jessie J, Mark Ronson, Candi Staton, George Duke, Dionne Bromfield and Russell Watson.

He fuses jazz-funk, soul and Latin music with ethnic sounds from around the world.

His albums have also been twice voted as iTunes staff favourite.

Xantone is joined on stage by Alex Bonfanti on bass and Nathan Allen on drums.
