An authentic Indian cook will conduct free taster lessons at the Foodies Festival this weekend.

The festival, which runs from May 24 to 26 at Marble Hill House, will see top chefs give demonstrations and guests the chance to enjoy themselves at the real ale and cider farm.

Anjula Devi, who runs a cooking school in Hampton, will host the one-hour lessons at her Indian cookery school stand.

Groups of 16 people will be taught how to make a curry paste from scratch and use it to make a chickpea curry, before they learn how to make chapattis.

Also at the show will be the debut of MasterChef Street Food bus, where MasterChef winner Mat Follas and finalist Jackie Kearney will cook delicious Asian street food such the Singapore Softie and smoky chicken burger.
