Pay-as-you-go might be a thing of the past for mobile phones but not when it comes to getting your cycle on.
Cyclists and exercise enthusiasts will now be able to ride for a pound thanks to the borough’s first indoor pay-as-you-go cycling studio, which opened in Mortlake this week.
Cychocycle is a studio that runs heart rate-monitored classes for beginners as well as elite cyclists and athletes.
Sara Spencer, director of the studio in Mortlake High Street, said: “Our aim is to provide Richmond with an exciting new way to train in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Indoor cycling doesn’t stress the joints like other forms of exercise and a rider can burn up to 600 calories in a class.”
