People can get a better understanding of dementia and the services available in Richmond during a web chat next week.
During dementia awareness week, from May 18 to 24, Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust is working to help people gain a better understanding of the condition which affects more than 800,000 people in the UK.
NHS dementia experts and dementia champions will be on-hand to offer advice or answer questions about the condition, including how to improve care and support for people affected.
The web chat panel will include dementia and Alzheimer’s as well as district nurses and doctors.
The online chat will take place on Thursday, May 22, from noon until 1pm.
