Marble Hill House will play host to Foodies Festival for the first time this year, with top chefs showing the public how it is done.

The celebration of fine food and drink will be set against the backdrop of one of Twickenham most historic landmarks.

Top chefs will be cooking and baking while children have the opportunity to learn the ropes in the children’s cookery theatre.

Among the chefs on display will be Adam Handling, head chef at the Caxton Grill in St James’s Park, who is looking forward to the event.

He says: “It is not something that I do regularly and it is my first festival.

“It is good to do stuff like that with other chefs - it is good to see other people and talk face-to-face.”

Handling recently appeared on Masterchef: The Professionals and was awarded the 2014 British Culinary Federation Chef of the Year title.

He adds: “I was extremely honoured to have that - I am an ambition person and I run my life on targets.”

Fans’ favourite Natalie Coleman, who won Masterchef last year will also give top tips.

She says: “As Masterchef Winner 2013 I am really pleased to be taking part in the Chefs’ Theatre at Foodies Festival this year, with so many well respected chefs involved.

“I’ll be cooking my favourite summer recipes and you’ll have the chance to take the recipes away with you to cook at home.”
