BBC-awarded American blues musician Larry Garner will play the Eel Pie Club.

Garner hails from the Louisiana delta, which is reflected in his storytelling vocal style, cleverly amusing lyrics and slow, muddy rhythms.

His music has won his numerous awards, including Bluesman of the Year by the BBC.

He was also honoured twice as Bluesman of the Year and three times as Blues Songwriter of the Year by Real Blues Magazine.

He was inducted into the Louisiana Blues Hall of Fame in 2002.

Garner will be joined for this performance by the Stockport-based Norman Beaker Band.
