Scene: The Tapestry bar in Mortlake
A man accused of murdering a 49-year-old at a Tapas pub has been remanded in custody.
Nicholas Hunter, 36, allegedly stabbed James Fiennes, a relative of actor Ralph Fiennes, at the Tapestry in Mortlake on April 22.
Mr Fiennes was taken to St George’s Hospital with abdominal wounds but died the next day.
Mr Hunter, who appeared at the Old Bailey today, has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on August 19 for a plea and case management hearing.
He is also charged with threatening to kill Thomas Olsen at the pub in Lower Richmond Road.
