Walkers taking part in this year’s Pink Ribbonwalk for Breast Cancer Care have been given some expert fundraising tips from the charity.
Advice offered includes setting up an online donation page, selling cakes or organising a non-uniform day at work or school.
This year’s walk takes place at Hampton Court Palace on Saturday, May 17, and walkers can choose between a 10-mile or 20-mile route.
Supermarket bag packs and car boot sales are another way of reading funds for Breast Cancer Care.
The charity provides information and support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
For people who want to push their fundraising to the limit, organising a pub quiz or a charity auction could be the way to do it, the charity suggests.
Or perhaps you could host a Come Dine With Me-style evening, where guests pay for a dinner and rate it afterwards.
