A Latvian pianist wowed an audience in East Sheen when he performed at a Richmond Orchestra concert.
Pianist Reinis Zarins performed the Grieg Piano Concerto at the spring concert on March 29.
Conductor Philip Hesketh praised the performance, which he said featured a challenging piece.
He said: “His fine balance of thrilling virtuosity and delicate poetry enthralled the audience and orchestra alike and brought well-deserved demands for an encore.”
