A man was knocked unconscious at Twickenham station last month, leading to a police appeal to find his attackers.

The 35-year-old was attacked by three men at about 9.20pm on March 15.

British Transport Police Detective Constable Michael Stephenson said: “The victim got off a train and while walking across the station footbridge three men began arguing with him, which quickly led to a physical assault.”

Police have pursued several lines of enquiries, including viewing CCTV footage taken from inside the station and the ticket hall.

They are now appealing to speak to the three men pictured, who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

Det Con Stephenson added: “This was a sustained attack which left the victim needing hospital treatment for cuts, bruises and swelling.

“I’m determined to find those responsible and would ask anyone who recognises the three men pictured, or who has any other information, to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040, or text 61016, quoting background B8 of 08/04/2014.
