Four Labour candidates for the European elections visited Twickenham to meet voters.
They were joined at a street stall in King Street by Nick Grant, Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Twickenham.
The prospective MEPs who visited on Saturday, March 29, were Claude Moraes, who has been a Labour MEP for London since 1999, and fellow candidates Sanchia Alasia, Ivana Bartoletti and Seb Dance.
Nick Grant said: “Labour’s European election candidates got a very warm reception in Twickenham.
“Labour is the only party capable of defending Britain's interests in Europe.
“David Cameron is held hostage by his own backbenchers and the Lib Dems have lost people’s trust and confidence.”
European elections are due to take place on May 22, alongside local elections.
