A 43-year-old cyclist is in a serious condition after a collision this morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car and a cyclist collided, in Roehampton, at about 6.45am, in Priory Lane, at the junction with Arabella Drive.

London Ambulance Service attended and the male cyclist was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car, a grey Vauxhall Astra, stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.

Officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them on 020 8941 9011.
