A new alliance will help businesses in Richmond become more dementia-friendly.
More than 90 people attended the Dementia Action Alliance launch on Thursday, March 6, to learn what they could do to improve their businesses for people with dementia and their families and friends.
The aim of the alliance is to work as a community to support people with dementia.
Leader of Richmond Council Lord true said: “I have a strong personal commitment to this issue and the council is pleased to be part of such an important group of stakeholders that can make a real difference to this local community.
“I am delighted to see so many organisations could attend the launch of the Richmond Dementia Action Alliance and hope to see many more sign up as we continue to raise awareness of dementia.”
