A supermarket in St Margarets has donated £500 to charity to mark the unveiling of the refurbished store.

The Tesco Express in St Margarets Road has undergone a complete revamp in recent months and has now opened its doors once again.

To celebrate its opening the store has given £500 to Richmond Mencap, which improves the lives and opportunities of those who use learning disability services in Richmond.

Chairman Denise Carr said: “We are thrilled to receive this kind donation from Tesco.

“The money will go towards supporting our weekly creative arts group in Richmond for adults with learning disabilities.”
