A woman has denied murdering her housemate and leaving her body in their flat for two weeks.

Mother of three Ms Nawracaj, 43, was found dead in The Towers, in Lower Mortlake Road, Richmond, at about 2pm on Saturday, November 30.

A post-mortem examination ruled she had died of head injuries. She had been reported missing by her sister.

Her housemate Edyta Zawadzka, 29, spoke only to confirm her name and enter a not guilty plea when she appeared by video link at the Old Bailey this morning.

Ms Zawadzka, who was represented by Melanie Kurdy, is charged with murdering Ms Nawracaj at some point between November 16 and 30 last year.

Ms Zawadzka is due to appear at the same court on Monday, March 3.

A trial date has not yet been set.
