Five-time Grammy award-winner Dionne Warwick will grace this year’s Hampton Court Palace Festival in June.

She is among a number of stars to perform, including Jools Holland, the Beach Boys, Rick Astley and the Royal Philharmonic Classical Gala.

Not to be missed, the musical legends will play in the historical courtyard of the magnificent Tudor palace, providing an intimate atmosphere for an audience of 3,000.

On confirming her slot, Warwick says: “I am thrilled and look forward to coming back to the UK this summer as this will be my first performance at Hampton Court Palace Festival.

“I am told that it is such a special and unique experience and all will be treated to a concert of favourite songs that will be familiar to their ears, and also a few new ones.”

Warwick has sold more than 100m records worldwide in a career spanning 50 years.

Featuring artists from around the world of rock, pop, jazz and classical music, this year’s festival takes place from June 11-25, 2014.

Tickets are now on sale and, due to public demand, the Beach Boys have added an extra date on June 25.

VIP state apartment packages are available, while festival-goers can arrive early (doors open 5.30pm) to enjoy picnics on the Palace Garden lawn.
