For a jovial kick-start to February, a famous jazz venue has just the ticket.

The newly refurbished Bull’s Head in Barnes, which has hosted shows by Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood, already has a brimming line-up of class acts and February will see it welcome the Mississippi Swamp Dogs.

The five-piece New Orleans-flavoured outfit offer a riotous mixture of funk, soul, rock and roll, shuffles and Latin rhythms.

Take a musical stroll through New Orleans’ legendary French quarter and be entranced by some of the most joyous, most danceable, most irresistible sounds heard anywhere on the planet.

The Mississippi Swamp Dogs take the best of these much-loved songs and race through them in a tuneful, high-energy show that will draw crowds in and get everyone moving.

Expect tunes by BB King, Bill Withers, the Crusaders and Lynyrd Skynyrd at this exciting show.
