The Word Cafe in Teddington will be putting on an all-female line-up to mark International Women's Day next month.
Seven Strong Female Poets will be headlined by Kate Fox, a northern stand-up poet, writer and BBC Radio 4 regular on shows such as Women’s Hour.
She has been poet in residence for the Great North Run as well as Glastonbury Festival and has toured her material across the UK.
She will be joined by BBC Poetry Slam 2013 winner Sophia Walker, Mel Jones (pictured), Cathy Flower, Rachel McCrum, Sophia Blackwell, Fay Roberts and Julie Mullen.
The poets will be complemented by three young singer-songwriters in Hattie Longfield, Jasmine Rodgers and Hetti James.
