Schoolchildren will join Richmond Orchestra for a pirates and the sea themed concert narrated by Roger Moore’s stunt double.

The Unicorn School choir is made up of pupils aged seven to 11 and have performed at St Augustine’s in Kensington, Trumpeter’s House, Richmond, and at the Barn Church for Kew the Music.

The choir have competed in the Sutton, Kingston and Richmond Music Festivals, were runners up at the Landmark Choral Festival in Teddington and performed at the Barbican for the finals of the Barnardos National School Choir Competition last year.

Composer Howard Goodall says: “The Unicorn Choir are polished, adorable and above all, beautifully-toned.”

The choir will join Richmond Orchestra for a performance of Pirates of the Caribbean, Songs of the Sea, Sailor’s Hornpipe, Pirates of Penzance Overture and Treasure Island, which was specially composed by Robert White.

Jason White, stunt man, director and actor for Harry Potter, Indiana Jones and James Bond, will narrate.

Audience members are encouraged to put on a pirate hat and join the crew for tea.
