A bus driver accused of crashing into an elderly lady faces no further action after his case was dismissed.
Patrick Gaffey, of Maple Close, Hampton, faced one charge of driving without due care and attention after he allegedly hit a woman with a single-decker bus he was driving in Red Lion Street, Richmond.
The 59-year-old was alleged to have not seen the woman, who was crossing the road, and caused her serious injury from the incident on February 5, last year.
Mr Gaffey denied the charge and his case was dismissed at Lavender Hill Magistrates’ Court on Monday, January 13.
